Different practices of lamination on eyewear

Lamination is already one of common technique in acetate eyewear production. Multi-color, shape and layer of acetate combination often produce unepected and stunning effects. Except regular way, we keep digging different creative methods to make the lamination more distinctive and matched fashion trend.

At first glance, it seems common lamination in two parts between up and bottom on the front. The little difference is bevel on the eyebrow part which shape the front in modern three-dimensional style.
Not only once lamination, but multi lamations in different shapes and pattern, to make the whole frame looks more colorful and vibrant.
The multi curves outline graceful feeling. And the proper selection of color and pattern combination also give unexpected appearance.
For mature consumer, more valuable elements are frequently required. On this model, we add small metal bar with gold color on the border between lamination parts. Matching with the large diamond on the temple, they make the whole frame appeal a little luxury feeling.
Sometimes the exist pattern on acetate materials is not enough for our customer brand. So we often make customized design and production on acetate board. Above model is made from customized high definition printing acetate which is laminated on front with metal endpiece.
Similar laminated high definition printing acetate for young people with additional slim color outline around the rim. The slim line is special pressed on surface with same level of whole front.
Can you tell it’s lamination or hollow out? Yes, it’s lamination with transparent acetate which make the eyebrow part looks like hollow out. When you hold the frame on hand, the front surface is flat.

Above examples are only small part of our new models applied with lamination. In the past many years, we input a lot on self research & development of new techniques and use them in different ways, close combining with design idea, trend and customer demand. I believe the convergence of glasses design, engineering crafts and manufacturing prcess is pivotal to the creation of exceptional, forward-thinking, and customer-focused solutions.
